Privacy Policy — SKU Inventory Sync
This Privacy Policy describes how SKU Inventory Sync ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when a merchant installs and uses the App on their store.
1. Information we access
To provide its core function — updating product inventory from a CSV file — the App accesses the following store data through the platform's Admin API:
- Store information: store domain and basic shop details.
- Products and variants: product and variant identifiers, SKUs, and inventory item identifiers.
- Locations: location identifiers and names.
- Inventory levels: available quantities used to apply the updates you request.
2. Information we do not collect
The App does not collect, store, or process customer personal data. It does not access customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, or order details. CSV files you upload are processed to apply the inventory updates you request and are not sold or shared.
3. How we use information
- To authenticate the App with your store and keep your session active.
- To match the SKUs in your CSV file to product variants and set the available inventory quantity at the location you select.
- To display results (which SKUs were updated and which were not found).
4. Data retention
We store the minimum data required to operate the App: your store domain and the access credentials issued when you install the App. This information is retained only while the App is installed. When you uninstall the App, it is deleted.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties except as required to operate the App or to comply with the law.
6. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the data we hold for your store at any time by contacting us. The App also supports the mandatory privacy webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact) so that data requests and deletion requests are handled automatically.
7. Security
All communication with the App is encrypted in transit over HTTPS. Access credentials are stored securely and used only to perform the actions you request.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
